Formalities for obtaining an Indian Passport :

1) Fresh Passport:

Note:
1) If you are working in any Semi Govt., Nationalized Bank, Govt. Assisted organization, School, College, University etc. then please get a N.Objection Certificate from the head of the department/Institutions.
2) The police inquiry is conducted by the local police after they receive due information from the Passport office and is at there discretion. You may visit at your local police station on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
3) For urgent passport cases, applicant have t.meet the passport officer along with the file n.(Receipt) issued by the passport officer and the decision on the urgency is at the discretion of the passport officer.

Terms and conditions:
· Foreign exchange can be issued only to Indian residents or foreigners who are resident permit holders.
Requirement of foreign exchange for Tourist purposes:
· In one calendar year maximum of US $10,000 or its equivalent.
· Per trip maximum in currency: US $3000 or its equivalent.
· Other options are traveler's cheques or CWM Card.
· Requirement of foreign exchange for BT - Business Tour:
· Per trip: Maximum of US $25000 or its equivalent.
· Per trip maximum in currency: US $3000 or its equivalent.
· Foreign exchange under this category can be issued only to people working in that company.
Payment Methods:
· A maximum of Rs. 50000/- is payable in cash if it is the first transaction for a particular trip, balance or amount exceeding Rs.50000/- should be paid by cheques or demand draft.
· Only one demand draft should be made per passenger.
Documentation Required:
· Original passport.
· Ticket copy of the passenger.
· BTQ Form duly completed and signed by passenger.
· Business letter on the company letter head duly completed and signed by the authorized signatory (For business purpose).
